We are a leading supplier of the very special fluid sealing products needed by the world's semiconductor manufacturers. Since the late 1980s we have worked with the industry's design engineers to develop new materials and fluid seals that will operate efficiently in the highly aggressive environments encountered.

In addition, we are Authorised Distributor in the UK, France and Ireland for the design, supply and technical support of sealing and fluid handling parts made of DuPont™ Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer. This, combined with our expertise in high performance elastomers and engineering plastics, enables us to offer customers in the semiconductor industry one of the most comprehensive product portfolios currently available.

High integrity 'O' rings

We precision mould 'O' rings of every size and to every standard, in a vast range of general and high performance elastomers. These include fluoroelastomers (eg, DuPont™ Viton®), hydrogenated nitriles (our Elast-O-Lion® range), and compounds based on Aflas® from Asahi Glass - as well as nitriles, ethylene propylene, silicones and fluorosilicones. We stock many thousands of types and sizes of 'O' rings in our most popular materials for immediate delivery, and can precision manufacture non-stocked items within hours, when necessary.

DuPont™ Kalrez® sealing & fluid handling parts

As an authorised distributor in the UK, France and Ireland for DuPont™ Kalrez® parts, we design, supply and provide technical support for perfluoroelastomer (FFKM) sealing products and fluid handling components. Numerous grades of Kalrez® have been tailored specifically for semiconductor processes, including plasma and gas deposition applications, as well as thermal processes and wet processes.

Engineering plastics

We have vast experience of problem solving by the design and manufacture of seals and other components in our Fluolion® PTFE, as well as DuPont™ Vespel® and Zymaxx®, PEEK™ from Victrex. and other exotic materials. Semiconductor industry applications with Vespel® include clamp rings, composite rings, baratron inserts, spacers and screws.

Precision cut gaskets

We swiftly produce precision cut gaskets and other complex profiles to any shape, size or quantity from any sheet material. Cutting capabilities include CAD/CAM controlled abrasive waterjet cutters and laser cutters that work from customers' CAD files, or scanned in drawings, templates or samples. All standard flange designs are held in memory.

High performance sheet jointings

Our leading jointing brands include Fluolion® Integra White & Blue (stabilised PTFE), Ultra High Purity Supagraf® expanded graphite, Chieftain® (carbon-fibre based), Centurion® (glass and aramid fibres), and Nebar® (cork-elastomer) grades. Specification and commercial grade elastomer sheets, including DuPont™ Kalrez® perfluoroelastomer, are also widely used as gasket materials.

Custom-manufactured products

This is our greatest area of expertise. The research and development facilities of James Walker Technology Centre, combined with our world-class manufacturing capabilities for high performance elastomers and engineering plastics, enable us to approach any fluid sealing problem with confidence. Much of this high-level work is confidential, and we are accustomed to operating under these conditions and fully respect the issues involved.
